Close the door to viruses and spyware

from time to time there comes a notorious virus that makes headlines. These are programmable codes that are embeded in little bits of software and downloadable links. Most of the time your computers automatic loading function leaves your system wide open to "back door" attacks from such viruses. As you boot up your system and your programmes load automatically
Here are some tips to help you avoid this problem:
1.:DELETE ALL UNNECESSARY START UP PROGRAMMES
Right click on start.
select ALL USERS
double click PROGRAMS
then START UP
There should be shortcuts to some programmes that automatically load when windows start up.To prevent this:RIGHT CLICK on the shortcut icon choose: DELETE .NB.this does not delete the actual programme.
2. PERFORM REGISTRY CLEANUP:Click start then:runtype in:regeditclick:ok
go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\microsoft\windows\windows\currentversion\run
On the right hand panel you will find all the programmes that start automatically in the registry.Go through the list and right click on the programmes that you do not want to load on start up and select delete.Once you give your system a good clear out and clean up you will notice a marked improvement in the load up time as well as making the system more stable and efficient
